  • Dequantes Lamar (born October 4, 1989), better known by his stage name Rich Homie Quan is an American rapper born in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Rich Homie Quan played baseball at Decatur, Georgia's Ronald E. McNair High School with aspirations to play professionally. After high school, when his baseball career did not materialize, he began rapping.
  • He got a job at a nearby airport and when he lost his job, Quan got involved in illegal activities which eventually led to him serving 15 months in prison for burglary.
