Fetty Wap's got his trap queen, and all is well. He showed her how to whip, and now she's remixing! How exciting! While his priorities may not be in order, as his main concern seems to be getting high with his baby and riding with his baby, at least he's got a woman to share his hobbies with.

Did you know?

  • “Trap Queen” originally involved Fetty Wap freestyling three of the verses in the song and posting it as a rough cut. The radio version, as it's heard now, was created when Fetty Wap formatted the song and added another verse to it.
  • Fetty Wap the first artist in the history of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs to have his first four singles sit in the top 10 simultaneously.
  • Generally a rapper, Wap was surprisingly not nervous to sing on “Trap Queen,” stating that he was excited to do something different
  • According to Wap, a trap queen is a woman who will make her own money and be there for you when you need her, and vice versa. Wap says, “As long as she got you and you got her, that's the trap queen.” Wap is quick to note that's the PG definition.
  • Wap released “Trap Queen” on Soundcloud and Youtube independently; prior to signing with 300 Entertainment, the song had amassed a million hits.
